Full-Chain Quality Management System

Quality is not inspected into a product; it is designed into the process. Hengsheng runs a full-chain quality system from quarry source, block screening, fabrication and finished testing through factory acceptance, transport and installation, with traceability throughout. Every piece passes 68 professional inspection procedures covering compressive strength, water absorption, abrasion resistance, slip resistance, radionuclide limits and heavy metal content.

Core Strengths

  • Control starts at source: radionuclide limits and Class A decorative material standards are verified at the purchasing stage, before stone ever enters the plant.
  • Full-chain traceability: records run from fabrication and finished testing through factory acceptance, transport and installation, retrievable by batch code down to quarry and station.
  • Sixty-eight procedures: every piece passes 68 professional inspection procedures covering compressive strength, water absorption, abrasion, slip resistance, radionuclide limits and heavy metals.
  • International internal standards: the full range carries ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CE, GREENGUARD Gold and NSF/ANSI 51 certification, holding quality to international internal standards with no compromise.

Service Process

  1. Quarry source: radionuclide limits and Class A standards verified; non-compliant sites not purchased.
  2. Block screening: colour grading, hidden-crack detection and appearance inspection, coded into storage.
  3. Fabrication: each stage inspected before the next, with images and data archived together.
  4. Finished testing: compressive strength, absorption, abrasion and slip measured item by item.
  5. Factory acceptance: coded and packed after final inspection, with transport and installation records kept by batch.

Applications

  • Government and public works requiring complete test documentation
  • Interior projects with radionuclide and heavy metal requirements
  • Cross-border delivery meeting local building material regulations
  • Property managers needing quality files for long-term maintenance

Sustainability & Certification

Quality and environmental management share one root: ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 cover the same production chain, with wastewater, dust, waste and energy controlled together.

Strict inbound and in-process inspection reduces scrap and rework and the secondary consumption of material and energy; sorted waste is recycled at over 85% utilisation.

Deep Selection Guide

Judge a quality system by whether the chain is complete: screening at source, records in process, final inspection at dispatch, files after installation. Missing any one link breaks traceability. Write sampling standards, test items and acceptance method into the contract and require reports with the goods; match report to physical code by batch on receipt. Where indoor safety matters, also request radionuclide and heavy metal reports so they form complete evidence alongside low-emission certification.

  • Selection criteria:The conditions of use at Government and public works requiring complete test documentation dictate the stone and the process, while Control starts at source governs how the finished face reads; only when both are settled should an order be placed.
  • Specification & thickness:Control tolerance with Inspection procedures (68) and set panel size to Interior projects with radionuclide and heavy metal requirements; corners and cut-outs must be called out on the detail drawing beforehand.
  • Acceptance & records:Acceptance focuses on Full-chain traceability, with figures and images retained; if a dispute arises it can be traced by batch code back to production and testing.
  • Sustainability:Quality and environmental management share one root: ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 cover the same production chain, with wastewater, dust, waste and energy controlled together. Set it out in the contract and acceptance documents, and bring it into line with local environmental rules.

On Full-Chain Quality Management System, the value Hengsheng brings is not the material alone but whether selection, fabrication, QC and delivery can be closed into an auditable loop that keeps programme and quality under control together.

FAQ

What exactly can be traced?
From the finished code back to quarry, block batch and machining station, including block screening records, inspection data from each operation, slab scan images and the final inspection report, with transport and installation records kept by batch as well.
How do 68 inspections differ from ordinary sampling?
The 68 procedures cover every link from quarry source to factory acceptance, and inspection is complete between stages rather than sampled only at the finished product. Problems are therefore found as they occur, not only at dispatch.
