A Hong Kong international school K-12 campus — 15,000 ㎡ of public-area stone facing three challenges: fall safety for 3,000 students, construction squeezed into summer holidays, and long-term wear. HENGSHENG MARBLE S&T CO. LIMITED Stone delivered everything across three summer windows.
The campus is built on "nature inspiring learning": the main entrance and reception lobby shape a sense of belonging with warm Crema Marfil; the teaching corridors and library use Silver Grey Granite for visual unity, noise reduction and wear resistance; the specialist and art studios take Carrara White as their clean keynote — three principal stones bringing safety and inspiration to every learning space on campus.
HENGSHENG MARBLE S&T CO. LIMITED Stone supplied and installed the 15,000 ㎡ of public-area stone: every external edge rounded to R=10 mm and machining compatible with underfloor heating, with all works completed in three summer windows — no classes were ever interrupted.
Three principal stones cover every learning scenario across the K-12 campus, unifying safety, wear resistance and visual calm.

Six stages from 3D scanning to staged summer delivery — 15,000 ㎡ completed in three 8-week windows, with no classes disrupted.
360° laser scanning of 12 teaching buildings produced millimetre-level point clouds, resolving 186 structural deviations in advance.
Nano-level substrate levelling with pull-off adhesion beyond 0.8 MPa, leaving a 6-day buffer before the term began.
Five-axis CNC machined every rounded edge and arris; each R=10 mm edge passed 100% inspection before packing and dispatch.
All rounded edges reinforced with protective film and foam; zero breakage in transit and zero risk to students.
Noisy trades ran 22:00–05:00 in July–August; quiet trades by day; full-area cleaning and acceptance finished 3 days before the term started.
Public areas ground and crystallised as one: flatness ±1.5 mm, gloss 85°, stain resistance grade 5.
Craft details up close — in a K-12 campus, safety lives in every surface a student touches.
Every external corner rounded to R=10 mm with 2 mm arris chamfers; no cracking after 10,000 impact tests.
Stair nosings inset with brass anti-slip strips plus R=5 mm rounded stone edges, meeting child-safety standards.
Stairs fitted with dual handrails (adult 900 mm + child 600 mm); metal-to-stone junctions padded for impact protection.
Teaching corridors have movement joints at 6 m centers to absorb day-night temperature swings and crowd loads, preventing stone tenting.
Classroom corners inset with 1.2 m stainless-steel bump rails finished with stone trim; no deformation after 50,000 impact tests.
Outdoor courtyard channels use stone grates with stainless-steel liners — no standing water or splash underfoot in the rain.
