International EPC Contractors

What a main contractor fears most is stone becoming the risk on the critical path: late arrival, wrong dimensions, slow top-ups. With delivery experience in 60+ countries, site re-measurement and staged release, Hengsheng turns design quantities into material that installs to the programme.

Core Strengths

  • Global logistics: sea freight, customs clearance and inland haulage handled through a global warehousing and logistics network, timed to site milestones.
  • Site re-measurement: on-site measurement is available so orders follow actual dimensions, cutting on-site cutting and rework.
  • Staged release: production and dispatch by work package and floor, avoiding yard congestion and double handling.
  • Installation guidance: installation sequence, numbering drawings and junction advice, with technical staff on site where needed.

Service Process

  1. Drawings and schedules: take off varieties, quantities and delivery milestones from construction drawings and material schedules.
  2. Site re-measurement: measure on site or check against the client survey, then order to actual dimensions.
  3. Production and shipping: programme backwards from milestones and set a staged release plan.
  4. Cross-border dispatch: handle documentation and clearance, track transit and flag exceptions.
  5. Site support: advise on installation sequence and junctions, handle top-ups and issues.

Applications

  • Full stone packages for overseas hotels and mixed-use schemes
  • Public areas and external cladding on cross-border infrastructure
  • Staged supply where several work packages run in parallel
  • Rapid top-ups after urgent orders or design changes

Sustainability & Certification

Cross-border delivery meets differing national rules on material provenance and environmental compliance; Hengsheng supplies origin documents and environmental management information for partner quarries to support local review.

Shipping is routed from the nearest base or warehouse to shorten distance, and 95% water recirculation with more than 85% waste utilisation can be cited in the project environmental report.

Deep Selection Guide

On EPC work, put delivery risk on the same footing as material performance: prefer stones with several backup quarries and more than one base able to process them, and fix top-up response times and spare ratios in the contract. With a rare stone, higher-than-expected waste can mean a top-up cycle of months. In practice, complete site re-measurement and freeze dimensions before production; notify design changes immediately so scheduling can adjust. Number consignments by work package against the installation drawing. Allow buffer for clearance and inland haulage, and pack fragile thin material separately with insurance cover.

  • Selection criteria:Full stone packages for overseas hotels and mixed-use schemes makes the most specific demands on the stone; satisfy it first, then use Global logistics to judge whether the process is feasible.
  • Specification & thickness:Fix the base thickness by Staged delivery (By milestone), then decide whether Public areas and external cladding on cross-border infrastructure needs local adjustment; all cut-outs and junctions should be confirmed on the drawing first.
  • Acceptance & records:Site re-measurement must be checked and filed before dispatch and accepted on site by number; if a dispute arises later it can be traced to the batch data held.
  • Sustainability:Cross-border delivery meets differing national rules on material provenance and environmental compliance; Hengsheng supplies origin documents and environmental management information for partner quarries to support local review. State this specifically in the acceptance documents and keep it consistent with the environmental rules that apply.

Hengsheng holds International EPC Contractors together through full-chain management from quarry to site; linking selection, fabrication, QC and delivery is what surfaces risk before it turns into a problem.

FAQ

How long does a top-up take after a design change?
It depends on the stone and whether it is in production: core varieties held in 5,000㎡+ of Hong Kong stock can be dispatched within days, while stone needing fresh extraction follows quarry scheduling and shipping, usually weeks to months. Reserving spare material is therefore recommended.
Can you re-measure on site?
Yes. Hengsheng provides on-site measurement and technical coordination, and can check against the client survey before production, avoiding rework from drawing-to-site deviation.
